**Policies & Procedures

At Body Mechanix Massage Therapy, I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. However, in my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are strictly honored:

**Cancellation Policy

A 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule that time. If you are unable to give 24 hours' notice, you may be charged the full amount of your appointment. This balance must be paid prior to your next scheduled session.

**No-Shows

Anyone who forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for any reason will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged the full amount for the missed appointment. This balance, along with full prepayment for your next session, will need to be paid in full before you can book again.

**Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the cost of the "full" scheduled session. Out of respect and consideration for my time and other clients, please plan accordingly and arrive promptly.

**Professional Boundaries & Treatment Policy

By receiving treatment at Body Mechanix Massage Therapy, the client understands that all treatments are strictly therapeutic and professionally given. Any attempts to solicit anything outside of professional treatment, including but not limited to anything of a sexual nature, will result in the immediate termination of the session. The client will be responsible for the full cost of the session and will be permanently banned from future treatments at Body Mechanix Massage Therapy.

**Gift Certificates & Massage Packages

Gift Certificates: Available for purchase on the website or in person. Gift certificates are non-refundable. However, they can be transferred to someone else; please contact me directly if you need to arrange a transfer.

**Massage Packages: Package purchases are non-refundable but can also be transferred to another individual. Please contact me directly if this is needed.
